SERBIA. Stefan Uros IV Dusan, as Tsar, 1345-1355. Gros (Silver, 21 mm, 1.77 g, 6 h), coronation issue, 1346. Stefan Uros IV Dusan standing facing and being crowned by two Angels, wearing loros and holding scepter surmounted by patriarchal cross in his right hand; in the fields to left and right, CΦb - ZP (Stefan Tsar). Rev. Christ, nimbate, seated facing on decorated throne and holding book of Gospels with both hands; in field to left, IC above II; in field to right, XC above o. Jovanovic, SMC 2014, p. 50, 9.4. Rare. Beautifully toned and unusually well preserved. Minor doubling, otherwise, extremely fine.
